最近因?yàn)椤爸忻蕾Q(mào)易戰(zhàn)”這一熱點(diǎn)新聞，官媒常說(shuō)一句話：談，大門(mén)敞開(kāi)；打，奉陪到底！那么這句話該如何翻譯？

　　中文簡(jiǎn)潔有力，譯起來(lái)并不算太難。

　　1.If the U.S. wants to talk, our door is wide open;

　　2.if they want to fight, we will fight to the end.

　　《環(huán)球時(shí)報(bào)》英文版這樣表述：

　　Talk? Our door is wide open. Fight? We will fight to the end!

　　《環(huán)球》的譯法在句式上追求與原文對(duì)等，用詞比較省。

　　外媒也早就注意到官方的強(qiáng)硬表態(tài)，而且在報(bào)道中多次引用，譯法則大同小異。舉兩個(gè)有代表性的：

　　《紐約時(shí)報(bào)》版：

　　If the U.S. wants to talk, our door is open.

　　If the U.S. wants to fight, we’ll be with them till the end.

　　《華盛頓郵報(bào)》版：

　　If we discuss, our door is always wide open; if we fight, we'll fight to the last.

　　這幾個(gè)譯法你喜歡哪個(gè)？

　　這兩句話下面還有一句：“欺，妄想！” 可以說(shuō) “Don't ever think about bullying!”

　　在對(duì)外實(shí)踐中，我們除了要善于把中文翻譯成英文，還要善于“以彼之道還施彼身”。翻譯這句話時(shí)，想到了美國(guó)前總統(tǒng)John F. Kennedy就職演說(shuō)中的一句話：Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate.永遠(yuǎn)不要因?yàn)楹ε虏耪勁?，但也永遠(yuǎn)不要害怕談判。
