促進(jìn)社會(huì)公平正義

公平正義是中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義的內(nèi)在要求，是中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨追求的一個(gè)十分崇高的價(jià)值目標(biāo)。中國(guó)正在加緊建設(shè)對(duì)保障社會(huì)公平正義具有重大作用的制度，逐步建立以權(quán)利公平、機(jī)會(huì)公平、規(guī)則公平為主要內(nèi)容的社會(huì)公平保障體系，努力營(yíng)造公平的社會(huì)環(huán)境，保證人民平等參與、平等發(fā)展的權(quán)利。黨和國(guó)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人對(duì)促進(jìn)社會(huì)公平正義提出了很多要求。例如，2013年11月，習(xí)近平在《中共中央關(guān)于全面深化改革若干重大問(wèn)題的決定》說(shuō)明中，將“進(jìn)一步形成公平競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的發(fā)展環(huán)境”“進(jìn)一步實(shí)現(xiàn)社會(huì)公平正義”視為全面深化改革的關(guān)鍵內(nèi)容。2014年1月，習(xí)近平在中央政法工作會(huì)議上強(qiáng)調(diào)，促進(jìn)社會(huì)公平正義是政法工作的核心價(jià)值追求，司法機(jī)關(guān)是維護(hù)社會(huì)公平正義的最后一道防線(xiàn)。

Promoting Social Equity and Justice 

Equity and Justice is an essential part of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and it is a lofty goal of the Communist Party of China. China has stepped up its efforts to build up institutions that play an important role in the protection of social equity and justice, with the goal of putting in place over time a social justice protection system based on equity in rights, obligations, opportunities and rules, in a fair social environment where everyone enjoys the equal right to participation and development. 

CPC and state leaders have set important targets for the protection of social equity and justice. In November 2013, for instance, Xi Jinping indicated in his note on the CPC Decision on a Few Major Issues in Further Reform in Different Areas that "a fair competitive environment" and "further progress in achieving social equity and justice" should be important targets as China implements further reform in all respects. On another occasion in January 2014 at the CPC Political and Legal Work Conference, Xi Jinping emphasized that social equity and justice is a core value that we must pursue in our political and legal work, and the ultimate protector of the judicial system.
